Highland Road YMCA Black Country Group provides supported accommodation in Dudley to assist young people in their journey from homelessness to independent living.

Our accommodation is located on Highland Road and works with 16-17-year-olds with Children’s Services input, Care Leavers and Young vulnerable people aged up to 24 years.

Highland Road provides 10 bedrooms plus 1 emergency room 3 shared kitchens and bathrooms, residents lounge, dining room/meeting room, laundry room, office with staff bathroom, large lawned gardens to the rear. The scheme is spread across 3 terraced properties.

The Highland Road supported housing scheme plays a key role within Dudley in providing housing with support to young people who would be too vulnerable to go into a larger supported housing scheme or young people who require more on-site supervision and support than their own tenancy with floating support would provide

Some young people require the support and securing of living in a family unit rather than in a project-based environment. For these young people, we provide supported accommodation through YMCA Open Door which is our Supported Lodgings Service.

There is a great opportunity for volunteering at Highland Road so if you are interested please speak to us.
