YMCA believes in fairness and opportunity.
There are essential building blocks for a full and rewarding life: a safe home; acceptance; guidance; friendship; physical and mental health; academic support; employment skills; and access to real opportunities. Many people have never known these things; other people have lost one or more as they grew up, but we all need them. At YMCA Black Country Group, we provide these critical foundations for a fresh, strong start for young people and a better quality of life in the community through the following services.
Housing
We provide a home and personalised support services for a fresh start in life through a combination of supported housing for vulnerable people, supported lodgings for teenagers in the homes of host families and Y-Living: affordable accommodation for young people.
Day Nurseries
We operate 8 day nurseries across the Black Country for children aged 5 and under, providing high quality affordable childcare with a team committed to giving children a strong start in life.
