Wolf’s Den aims to support unemployed young people into self-employment.

Young people will work with a business advisor to develop an entrepreneurial idea and business plan to demonstrate the viability of their idea. They will then enter Wolf’s Den to pitch their idea to a panel of ‘Wolves’, made up of YMCA senior staff and local business owners.

The 10 most viable and innovative ideas will be awarded £500 to support the start of their business (e.g. by buying essential equipment such as cleaning or decorating equipment). They will be supported by a Business Advisor and signposted to additional services across the city and matched with a business mentor in their chosen field.

Those not successful in receiving funding will still receive business advice and support to access alternative funding sources relevant to their business idea.

To apply to be a part of Wolf’s Den, submit your application using the form below.
