YMCA Living Springs provides supported housing in self-contained flats for parents with young children as a temporary placement, as well as signposting to additional support and day activities to build confidence, well-being, and practical life skills.
At Living Springs our vision is a safe place where families experience love and community to enable healing and growth for a better future. Set in a peaceful rural location in South Staffordshire, YMCA Living Springs is a unique environment offering a space away from distractions, with support to experience well-being, positive activities and learning as a demonstration of the love of God

Living Springs currently has 5 two bedroom and 4 one bedroom fully equipped self-contained flats. There are communal rooms and outdoor areas including, a laundry room, IT room, playroom, children’s playground, covered outdoor area to hang washing, peaceful garden area and pet corner.
Allotments and nature trail are being developed and residents are encouraged to get involved. There is a training kitchen and dining area for structured sessions or organised communal activities.
Our eligibility criteria for housing tenants are that they are they are vulnerable young people or parents, either pregnant or with young children, and in need of supported housing from one of these groups;
We assess each application on a case by case basis to ensure they will benefit from support at YMCA Living Springs and a unique plan will be made for each family to help them by early invention support, respite and recovery support, confidence building, with the aim to gain skills and move on to independent housing.

Your donation will help us cover the core support costs as well as supporting us to develop additional support for the families with mentoring and relevant courses and activities to build confidence, improve well-being and give practical life skills. We are also working to develop on-site facilities, such as a caring for animals, allotment space and a nature trail.
