Domestic Worker, West Bromwich

Salary: £12.21 per hour

We are looking to appoint a motivated Domestic Worker to join our People & Places team. The ideal candidate will be a committed individual who has a clear understanding/knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations, as well as a desire to achieve an NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning Services or equivalent if not already achieved. Responsibilities for the role of a Domestic Worker include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Cleaning and domestic duties of all public areas, offices, void flats.
  • Ensure that cleaning equipment is maintained, and adequate materials are available at the beginning of each shift.
  • Report all breakages, defects and areas of concern to the site manager / supervisor.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the building whilst on shift.

Normal shift times will be Monday 6am – 1.30pm, Tuesday to Friday, 8am till 1pm. Also expected to cover weekends when the weekend staff are on annual leave or sick.
