YMCA Black Country Group is seeking a passionate and visionary Lead Chaplain to help support young people and communities across the Black Country. This is more than a job—it’s bringing light into places of challenge, and offering spiritual and pastoral support to staff, residents and service users from all walks of life and from all faiths and none.
As Lead Chaplain, you will lead and grow a team of volunteer chaplains, develop creative and context-sensitive chaplaincy programmes, and be a consistent, visible presence across our settings. You will be part of a national movement of YMCA chaplains committed to expressing the Christian faith in action, in a way that is inclusive, compassionate, sensitive and relevant to today’s world.
We’re looking for someone with a deep personal commitment to the Christian faith*, strong pastoral experience, and the ability to inspire and equip others. If you’re ready to step into a role where faith meets frontline impact—this could be the opportunity God is calling you to!
