YMCA Training and Education offers tailored support in helping young adults reach their potential, wheether through further education, training or employment. We find out your goals, and help you to achieve them using one to one mentoring.

Our centres are based in Wolverhampton, West Bromwich and Walsall and are aim is to help remove barriers to training and employment.

Family Matters helps people overcome life’s challenges to make positive changes, learn new skills and gain employment.


What do we do?

Our methods are simple. We focus on your needs, at your pace, to develop short, medium and long term career goals. This is done by helping you identify your personal wellbeing, learning and employment aspirations.

Finding a job in the current climate is hard work. We have centres across the Black Country and hold regular job clubs and one-to-one sessions to support you find a job!

How do we do it?

We offer support through:

  • Personal wellbeing support through a range of support services (health issues, debt management, housing, family support)
  • Benefits Councilling
  • One to one careers, advice and guidance with a trained professional
  • Confidence Building workshops
  • Help identifying the right support service from across the Black Country to help you reach your goals
