We are looking to appoint an experienced motivated and committed individual to join our housing team in Rugeley. To support the Housing Services Manager to ensure the provision of high quality day to day housing management functions of the YMCA’s housing stock in Staffordshire.
The role will include but will not be limited to;

• To be involved in interviewing applicants and carry out the appropriate needs and risk assessments and reference checks before offering accommodation.
• Managing a caseload of young people providing housing and tenancy related support.
• To keep voids to a minimum by ensuring they are cleaned, prepared and ready to let in the quickest time possible.
• To visit the properties as agreed to ensure that they are safe and the residents are adhering to the licence agreement and the property is being kept in good condition.

The ideal candidate will have excellent IT skills as well as the ability to organise and prioritise workload in an effective way and to respond and adapt to changing priorities required in delivering a quality housing service. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to liaise effectively with a variety of agencies.
The applicant must complete an enhanced DBS check before taking up the role.
