37.5 hours per week | £20,029, per annum | Permanent | Location Dudley
YMCA is seeking to appoint a Key Support Worker to join their housing team providing support to young people and adults at risk.
Being a Key Support Worker at the YMCA is all about relationships… can you build effective relationships, can you encourage and motivate individuals so that they acquire the skills they need to live independently, to thrive as an individual and meet their potential?
You need to be compassionate, patient and committed. You need to have creative ideas of how to engage our service users and be resilient when things don’t go perfectly. You need to understand the impact of trauma on an individual’s behaviour and want to make a difference.
Experience of working in a Housing environment is desirable – but passion and attitude is key.
