YMCA
Board membership

YMCA’s across the Lichfield Diocese are seeking new members to join our respective Boards.

We are looking for experienced and skilled professionals, with a caring heart, who can spare a few hours each month to assist with the governance of our organisations. In return we offer reasonable expenses, training and the chance to put your knowledge and experience to good use.

As a Board Member, you will:

  • Help your local community and improve lives
  • Help with the running of a well respected charity
  • Feel rewarded and appreciated
  • Be part of a dedicated team
  • Be motivated by the Christian Faith
  • Use your gifts for the good of others

The YMCA provides opportunities for young people to develop in body, mind & spirit. Inspired by, and faithful to, our Christian values, we create supportive, inclusive and energising communities, where young people can truly belong, contribute and thrive.
The YMCA Movement in England is one of the largest youth charities in the country. From small beginnings the YMCA Movement has grown to become one of the biggest Christian charities in the world working in 119 countries with over 50 million members worldwide.

YMCA’s across the Diocese include North Staffordshire, Burton, Wellington and Black Country.  (Please click on the respective link to visit their website.)

So, if you’re looking for the opportunity to contribute to a thriving organisation, have experience, enthusiasm and are committed to supporting your local YMCA, then we would like to hear from you.
