Are you a young person that has childcare responsibilities and need support with childcare whilst you undertake a course or programme of activity.
The YMCA has over 50 years experience of delivering childcare support with qualified crèche and childcare workers. Our offer of support is based upon mobile crèches or access to our nursery provision – so we would want to be able to offer you as a parent support with your child/ children at locations (if possible near you) or within our current crèche and childcare settings across the Black Country.
Our offer of support would help you as a young person to have free time to undertake a programme or course with the satisfaction of knowing that your child would be well looked after. He or she would have the opportunity to learn and play with other children of the same age and we would provide reports on progress. We would follow the recommendations laid down by Ofsted to ensure a quality experience for your child.
Together with you as a young parent, the Talent Match Childcare Support will tailor the requirements of support as far as possible to the needs of you as a young parent, recognising that you as a young person will require time for your own personal development as well as assisting with parenting/relational skills with your child – giving you tips and guidance on how to get the best out of your parenting.
We would provide support for children aged between 6 months to 4 years old enabling you as a young person to attend activities e.g. training, interviews, counselling sessions etc.
