Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, build new friendships and contribute to your local community. It may also enhance your CV and job prospects for the future!

There are plenty of roles to get involved in and opportunities to embrace. Why not have a look at our volunteering options below and get in touch to offer your support?

As a volunteer of YMCA Black Country Group, you could get involved in a range of different activities including:

  • Fitness & Wellbeing
  • Youth Work
  • Supported Housing
  • Chaplaincy
  • Marketing
  • Fundraising
  • Event Organisation
  • Administration and finance
  • Mentoring
  • Becoming a board/committee member

All our volunteers will be given a full induction onto the organisation, receive training as necessary, and be fully supported by a clear line management structure. This ongoing support is a very important aspect for many of our volunteers as meaningful and valuable work needs to be delegated and overseen.
